主讲人简介
Dr Hans-Jörg L. Weber has taught at seven universities in three countries since 2004. Dr Weber worked as Director of International Relations and Programme Director at Germany's largest private university, where he was responsible for managing a Business School in southern Germany. Prior to that, he was Head of Consulting and Deputy Managing Director of a professional association with over 4300 members and 40 schools. He earned academic merits at the elite universities of Heidelberg, Freiburg as well as in Kiel, where he was also a research assistant for his research funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
讲座简介
The lecture is located within the triangulation between geopolitics, cultural geography and philosophy and is dedicated to the topic of war and peace in the broadest sense with a special focus on the western part of the Eurasian continent. On the basis of selected geopolitical stratagems of US foreign policy and social science explanatory models, current areas of tension will be identified, and explanations offered. The academic lecture aims to place the current tensions in Europe in a larger context and to name and discuss the causes.

To promote the Double First Class Initiative and the building of the SISU international academic community, the University launches The SISU International Faculty Forum (SISU IFF) Project. SISU IFF invites international faculty members to share their knowledge and insights under the two categories of Academic Lecture Series and Cultures and Civilizations Series.
